Look outside the box! That's what the fashion magazines x-ray and style in progress of the publisher UCM do with their new iPad apps. Decision makers from the international fashion industry can now get information about the latest fashion trends, lifestyle trends, and commercial concepts on the move, delivered on a device as stylish as the magazine. The two apps were developed with the software company Mobilinga and feature an intuitive interface, and page navigation through scrolling, zooming and thumbnails. As well as thought provoking prose the apps contain high quality photography.
For the publisher, UCM, the launch of the iPad Magazine is a central part of its future plans. The apps allow UCM to respond to customer feedback on the content as well as reaching subscribers the print version was not able to.
Stephan Huber, editor style in progress, x-ray commented, "The commitment to this platform means more to us than a simple must-have. The availability of style in progress, and x-ray, as iPad apps opens borders. Let's think of the world in a new dimension."
